Part of the Self Absolved series looking at how we form identites, this piece looks at how we understand the parts of ourselves that our parents gave us. Also looks at how our relationships with our parents inform our identies. "Golden Dad" does not depict anyone in particular- we can't see his face or any specific qualities, but instead it is what the golden glowing figure in the darkened forest represents.
